AlleyCat Ride!

• 09/2022:
  This game first created as a final assignment for the Game Design certificate of SAE Athens.
• 07/2024: 
  It was presented publicly for the first time to the public with its own booth in Athens Tabletop.

     Genre: Racing, Sport, Print & Play
     Age: 12+
     Players: 2-4 (solo mode in progress)
     Playing Time: ~45min.
     Setup Time: ~5min.

Our board game is titled "AlleyCat Ride!" after the real Alleycat Races, which are organized by bicycle messengers in cities all over the world.

The AlleyCat Ride attempts to reenact these races in board game-form, to join together our love of cycling and tabletop games!

It's a game of decisions, competition, luck and above all fun!

•Goals

Collect all the required checkpoints, then reach the finish line!

•Challenge

     - The other players are your enemy. There is only one winner in this race but what if you team up with someone ?
     - Beware of the Buses. Is your enemy but sometimes you can get an advantage.
     - The city hides many obstacles. In every turn there is a random event. Beware.
